I'm in a rock band! I sing, in the band and I play guitar at open mics. I'm not super good at guitar at ALL, but I am still learning. I love going to see live music and I go to a lot of different shows in town. I dig dancing, karaoke, and lots of other stuff.

I find myself wanting to add more to my profile as I realize how little detail was on it.

I'm bisexual, like it says up there. My mother taught me at a young age to love and accept everyone, regardless of race or gender. Well, she got a daughter who is bisexual and is happy to date inter-racially, or of her own race. If only we could all be so accepting.

So a little more about me-- I'm not a religious person, at all. If you are, we could possibly be friends, but it's probably in your best interest not to date me. I see organized religion as something that has both exploited and taken advantage of innocent minds who need assistance in grasping greater thoughts. I'm not saying there isn't a place for religion, but it is certianly not in my heart.

Faith is an entirely different subject. I believe in many things we cannot see or understand-- does that mean that I need to be in a building or join hands with strangers who will be requested to pony up money later in the afternoon.

I do feel spiritual when I go to Church on the Rocks (it's an open mic at a bar on sunday nights). I don't even attend that every single week.

I'm a bleeding heart liberal, and I'm moderately interested in politics. I'm much more interested in world affairs and sociology. I love to philosophize about random stuff. If there is a possiblity for an intelligent conversation on any topic, I'm excited. I'm turned on (physically and mentally) by great conversations. Learning is a passion of mine, and that includes learning about my fellow human beings.

Travel--- I love to travel, and experience new places. The majority of the travel I've experienced has been in the united states. I've had several jobs which required me to travel extensively, and I've gotten to know some interesting places. I've been to canada a couple of times, and I really love Montreal. The blend of cultures and language there was so fascinating, and I also enjoyed being able to have liquor in my latte at 10am.

My favorite place in the united states (That I've experienced thus far) is New York. I love Brooklyn and Manhattan. I also enjoy Las Vegas! What a fun place-- so much of that place is dedicated to having fun, and you're surrounded by a beautiful, intense desert. Awesome.

Well let's see now...I'm 27, single (obviously), a home-owner, pet lover, very fond of people of all kinds but I really value the people I hold close: I'm extremely loyal to those I care about. Shy at first, I tend to warm up better in small groups or one-on-one outings. Tending to listen rather then talking, its sometimes hard to get a good read on what type of person I am. Sometimes I write poetry, and from what others have said, the poems are quite good. I walk, or use public transportation where ever I need to be. Independence means a lot to me, it is the basic life force that drives me.

(It's been a long time since I updated this...it had like three spelling errors and was just old, rather embarassing. Hopefully I've fixed everything.) I'm a Junior at the University of Louisville. I used to wrestle. I'm into combat sports (such as the UFC, Pride Fighting, good ol' fashioned boxing, etc) and writing (I like writing anything, it's quite a passion for me, actually). I like to play video games, especially RPGs and strategy games. I like anime and manga, two among my favorites being Samurai Champloo and Naruto. My favorite superheroes are Spiderman in Marvel, and Batman in DC. I like playing card games (of the collectible variety, although Bullshit and Rat Screw are a couple of favorites of mine, too) or anything of a similar make that will test my strategic and analytical abilities. If you haven't figured it out by now, I am a nerd. This double bracket thing is sort of throwing me off now...umm...I love to have intelligent conversations, and I'm currently just looking for someone cool to talk with...

To beef this up a little bit, because it seemed a little scrawny in comparison to other peoples' self summaries, I like to think of myself as a person with a lot of ambition. I'm constantly thinking up new projects and things to further extend my grasp of life and reach into other areas outside of my fortes, as well as just simply display my talents. I'm a highly competitive sort of person. Anything that presents a challenge, or could be made into some sort of competition, I'm usually all for. I kind of have an alpha male mentality, so I like being the best. In saying this, I must admit that while I realize that you can't win "them all", I at least attempt to win 99.9% of them. However, when not in a competitive situation or a conflict of some sort, I tend to be really laid back. Even when I'm competing on some level, I seem to keep a cool, level head, and I'm usually able to analyze the situation fairly successfully.

As for some aspects of my personality that aren't particularly positive...I tend to be very impatient, especially when faced with the promise of something I desire very much. So I rush into things. Never turns out too pretty, unfortunately. I'm a rather paranoid person who also exhibits OCD behavior. These two social disorders tend to be a rather potent mixture, and I find myself constantly having to come to terms with them both. It causes a lot of stress on my part. While I can contain my temper/emotional impulses, when pushed to my limits, I'm very sharp tongued, vindicitive, and downright nasty, if it comes to those terms. However, as bad as all of these things are...and yes...I know that they are bad...they are only a smaller fraction of the person I really am.

I moved to Louisville a little over five years ago for college. I quite like Louisville, so I'll probably end up staying here once I'm finally finished with grad school.

This past year I spent two weeks backpacking in Europe, visiting London, Cologne, Prague, and Kiev. It was an amazing experience and I want to go back as soon as possible.

I'm officially an EKU alum, kinda hard to swallow, but bigger and better things are to come. Currently I'm a Loss Prevention Associate at Von Maur. I love, music, hockey, football (DAAA bears), and the thing I love most is having friends and family that I wouldn't trade for the world. My work schedule is extremely lame because its in the entertainment industry.. which means I almost always work weekends and typically 10 hours a day or more. Dont play as much as I wish I did. I get off on drum machines, synthesizers, sequencers, and whatnot on a nightly basis. Been in several bands and occassionally go out to see my friends' play or reherse. I have an avid appreciation for literature and art and wish I had more ppl to talk about such things sincerely with.. most of these friends have all moved away from here.

I've moved around alot - more or less because I didnt goto college, but I consider myself well read and educated. Learning is a past time. I need to travel out of the country sooner than later.. been telling myself that for 10 years now - during which time I've lived in Louisville, Denver, Tacoma, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and spent an inordinate amount of time in Chicago and in a small 1 stoplight upstate town in NY called Bainbridge. Bane (n) 2b. A source of persistent annoyance or exasperation.

I'm a insomniac and have been ever since I can remember. If I'm wasting time watching TV.. I'm usually surfing for cartoons/adult swim/etc., science/history, or screaming inside my brain how much everyone should hate cable news. For the most part TV is just background noise though,. I've grown tired of it. When I'm feeling extra creative I'll do anything from digital art, photography, woodwork, painting, clay, or whatever hits me at the time. I'm an expert in few things but

I know enough to be dangerous (or embarrasing) in alot of things. I would tell you how much I know about computers and networking and more about my job, but honestly those are the things I'm generally the most sick of. I do love me some gadgets though. Last cool little gadget I got was a Stylophone handheld synth.. check it out on google if your bored. It's not really that fascinating though :)

Hello, I am 20 years old, I go to JCC in the mornings and work for UPS in the evenings so my hands are kind of full during the week, but my weekends leave me free to do anything.
I love to try new things and go to new places. Im not a huge thrill seeker though, you wont see me bungee jump anytime soon, sorry, I dont even like roller coasters that much, lol. But relax, Im faaaar from boring.
I love to go to Kart Country, hit up the batting cages or throw a little money to the arcade and win something stupid like some plastic rinky dink parachuting monkeys, lol. NEVER BEEN TO LAZER BLAZE OR PAINT BALL, but I really want to do both.
Random trips out of the state are so much fun, even if its just to go and eat at an IHOP. But weekend trips to Gatlinburg are way better.
I love to draw, graphite pencil sketches specifically, but I doodle crazy shit all the time. I love drawing eyes.

Well where do I start? I enjoy NASCAR racing and also dirt track racing , open-wheels are my favorite. Do not have alot of free time, as I work 7 days a week. Enjoy taking trips to the lake when I have the time. Anything to do with the outdoors in the summertime is great. I am not into the bar scene, But I do drink socially. I am an animal lover. I have 2 dogs that are treated as children. I enjoy the simple things in life. Life is too short not to enjoy it.

I have been told I am a serious and quiet person, but also consider myself intelligent and thoughtful. I did well in catholic schools and college and found myself a steady career in a call center I have worked at for almost 10 years. My last position was as an Analyst in the National Workforce department for a cable company, where I monitored call volume to make certain we have just enough staffing to meet our customer service level goals. At the moment I am in transition to a new company to work in the IT field. It is a big change, but I am really excited and looking forwarding to switching gears back to troubleshooting and computers.

I did go to art college for nearly 4 years, although it has nothing to do with what I currently do as a living. At least it helped to make me a well rounded person. I am a bit of a computer geek and enjoy video games in moderation, boardgames, and have been playing tabletop roleplaying games for a long while now. My game of choice is still Dungeons and Dragons. I like the social aspect of getting together face to face with friends more then going online with MMOs like WoW. To people who have not tried it before it can be difficult to explain the appeal of getting together and working thru puzzles and stories and boss fights with rules that let you use "swords and magic". For myself and my friends who play it is a fun time to get together to BS and talk in between bouts of taking on the role of characters in a favorite fantasy novel who get to level up, find spectacular loot, and beat up bad guys. I like running the games. I may not have the patience to actually write out a novel, but I can watch the reactions of my friends who have to interact with a world that I have sculpted in my imagination. It is much more interactive then just taking down those ideas to paper and gives me a creative outlet.

While staying at home can be nice, I also like to get out and have fun as well, from movies and dinner out, to bowling, billiards, karaoke, or theater. I have been taking dancing lessons for almost year and am finally proficient enough to attend practice parties or other socials like the Kosair Shrine Dance. I also bike for exercise with one of my roommates when the weather is warm, and am always up for trying new activities. While I don't really watch sports on TV, I like attending in person, or even participating in pick up games.
